2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. Crisco or solid shortening
3/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk: stir with fork until blended. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface. Knead gently 8 to 10 times. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Cut with floured 2 inch round cutter. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 425º for 12 to 15 min.

Not all biscuits come from a can and are tapped on the edge of counter to open! These are worth the effort and so yummy with honey, butter and cinnamon spread in the middle!
