3/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup boiling water
1 - 3 oz. box peach Jello
2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 carton Cool Whip
1 - 9" baked pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, cornstarch and water. Cook over med. heat, stirring till thick. Remove from heat, add peach Jello, stir well. Cool till lukewarm. Add fresh sliced peaches and mix all together. Pour into baked pie shell and top with Cool Whip. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

This is one of my favorite desserts. One of Donnie's co-worker's wife gave me this recipe about 35 years ago. I have to make at least one every summer when fresh peaches are in season. You can also make this with strawberry Jello and fresh strawberries.
