2 c. uncooked egg noodles
1 lb. lean ground venison, antelope, elk, moose, etc. (can use hamburger)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 - 16oz. can whole tomatoes, cut up, juice reserved for another use
1 - 16oz. can kidney beans, drained
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 - 16oz. can sliced potatoes, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. pepper

Heat oven to 350. Grease a 2 qt. casserole. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Place in prepared casserole; set aside. In med. skillet, cook meat, onion, and garlic in oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender. Add meat mixture and remaining ingredients to noodles, mix well, cover and bake 35-45 min.
