2 3 oz. packages of cream cheese
2 tbsp orange marmalade
1 tsp crystallized ginger
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 chopped almonds, toasted
6 1.5 in slices French bread
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 3 quart baking dish. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, marmalade, ginger and nutmeg. Stir in almonds. Cut a pocket in the top of the crust of each bread slice. Divide cream cheese mix evenly among packets. Place bread slices in a baking dish. In a small bowl, beat together eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour the egg mixture over the bread covering all the tops. Cover and chill over night. Bake in a 350º oven 30 minutes.
