1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine or butter (softened)
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups quick cooking oats
1 (6 oz.) pkg. of semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix sugar, margarine, egg, water and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon about 2” apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated 350° oven about 10-12 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
