1 cup pecans (almonds or walnuts)
4oz. unsweetened chocolate (4 squares)
2/3 cup butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
4-1 3/4 oz. Caramilk bars


Icing:

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup half and half cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. On a cookie sheet, toast whole pecans for 10 minutes. Cool and chop coarsely.
Grease a 9 x 13 inch glass pan.
Coarsely chop chocolate and combine with butter in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until melted (do not burn the chocolate. (Surely the Chocolate Police will soon be at your front door. Great care is required here!) Cool until lukewarm.
Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Add pecans and caramel sections. Spread in pan and bake in center of oven for 20-25 minutes. DO not over bake.
Icing:
Melt chocolate chips and cream over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth. Spread over warm brownie. Delicious!
