2 c thinly sliced, peeled peaches
3 Tbsp lemon juice
4 c sugar
1 pkg powdered pectin
1 c water

Directions:
Directions:
In a heatproof bowl, combine the peaches and lemon juice. Using a fork, pastry blender or potato masher, crush the fruit. Stir in the sugar and let stand about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a saucepan, combine pectin and water and bring to a boil. Boil about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour hot pectin mixture into the peaches. Stir for 2 minutes. Pour into clean jars or freezer containers. Cover with lids or foil. Let stand at room temperature for an hour or until fruit is set.
