First day
Chop the following ingredients and mix all together then cover with 1/2 C. salt.and let set overnight
4 C. onions
4 C. cabbage
4 C. green tomatoes
12 green peppers

2nd day
Mix the following ingredients together and cook to make a syrup.
6 C. sugar
6 C. vinegar
2 C. water
1 t. celery seed
1 t. mustard seed
1 1/2 t. tumeric

Directions:
Directions:
Drain water from the vegetables and add them to your syrup and cook all together for 8 - 10 minutes. Can and seal. Makes 9 pints.
It is recommended that you process this in a hot water bath for 10 minutes to insure a good seal.
