3 c dry pinto or kidney beans
7 c water
1 finely chopped onion
2 c tomato sauce
2 c stewed tomatoes
1 c finely diced celery
1 small bay leaf
1½ c catsup
2 tsp chili powder
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
Garlic powder
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vinegar
1½ tsp salt
¼ tsp dry mustard
1½ tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Put beans and water in large pot and bring to boil. Turn down to simmer and cook 2 - 5 hours, until beans are tender. Do NOT drain beans. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on low heat (or in crock) for 1 - 2 hours.
