3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
2 t. baking soda
1 1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. cloves
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. seedless rasins
Icing:
1 lb. powdered sugar
2 t. vanilla
1 stick butter
8 oz. cream cheese

Directions:

Grease and flour 2 (9") round cake pans. In a large bowl with mixer at low speed, beat first 10 ingredients 2 min. scraping bowl frequently. Stir in apples and raisins. Spoon batter into pans and bake @ 350º for 45 minutes. For icing: Mix all ingredients at room temperature until creamy and smooth. Spread on the layers when cooled.
