3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Mix eggs, milk and sugar in a medium size bowl until smooth. Pour into six 3" custard cups. Dust with a pinch of nutmeg. Place cups in an 8 x 11 glass baking dish filled halfway with water. Bake 1 hr and 15 min. or until knife comes out clean when inserted in center

If you like vanilla, add a tsp. vanilla extract to uncooked egg mixture. This custard is good served cold as a light dessert.
