2 lbs. pork sausage
2 (8 oz) pkgs. cream cheese
2 pkgs. crescent rolls
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 jar sliced mushrooms
poppy seeds
2 egg whites, slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In large skillet, brown sausage and onions and drain thoroughly. While sausage mixture is still hot, add cream cheese and mushrooms. Stir in until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Cool completely. Separate crescent rolls into two rectangles (per can). Roll out with rolling pin. Form log of sausage mixture lengthwise down center of each rectangle. Fold over the long sides of pastry to cover sausage log. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down. Brush with egg whites. Sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake 20 min. or until the crust is golden. When completely cooled, slice into 1-1/2 in. slices.
