3 firm ripe tomatoes
1tbsp. flour dash salt and pepper
3 slices of bacon fried crisp
2 tbsp. bacon fat.
1 tsp. sugar.
2 tbsp. flour
1-1/2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Slice tomatoes 1/2 inch thick. Roll them in flour salt and pepper on both sides. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and drain. Pour out most of the bacon fat and reserve. Fry the tomatoes in some of the fat until brown. Sprinkle sugar over tomatoes to suit taste. Put 2 tbsp bacon fat in pan. Add 2 tbsp. flour blend. Then add milk . Crumble in bacon .Cook for about 4 min. or until it thickens. Pour over tomatoes and serve.
If you desire you can mix the tomatoes in the gravy while in the pan.
