2 quarts popped corn
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 cup margarine
1/2 cup clear Karo syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, margarine and Karo syrup in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally (about 10-15 minutes) or until mixture turn a light caramel color. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Pour over cooked popcorn that has been spread on a cookie sheet. Add nuts. Mix well to coat. Spread to dry and cool or shape into balls. Store in a tightly covered container.

For 2 quarts of popcorn, you will need 1/2 to 2/3 cups unpopped.
