1 28 oz. bottle ginger ale

Another of mother's non-alcohol beverages. I remember many years ago she had her first appointment with a new doctor (Siler) whose questions included "Do you drink?" She asked "drink what?" & he mentioned alcohol. Affirming she did, he wondered to what degree -- "moderate" perhaps? "Yes" Once home she reported details of her visit to my dad, including the description of herself as a drinker of alcohol. He replied with great laughter "Honey, you have a long way to go up before you reach moderate." If she could have created a "good daiquiri" without alcohol she would have done so.
