Crust:
1/2 package of graham crackers, crushed
1 stick of butter, melted
2 tablespoons sugar

Filling:
3 large packages of cream cheese
1 cup sugar
5 eggs

Topping:
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 pint sour cream
1/2 cup sugar

For crust:

Mix together the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter and the sugar. Press into a 9 by 13 glass baking dish pushing up the sides about 1/2 inch. Bake at 300 degrees or until light brown.

Beat cream cheese. Add eggs 1 at a time until fluffy. Add sugar and beat well. Pour into shell and bake at 300º for 1 hour.

Meanwhile beat sour cream with sugar and vanilla.

Pour over hot cheesecake and bake 5 minutes longer.

This was my mom's specialty. It was not a holiday without Diane's cheesecake! The sour cream topping makes this cheese cake special. It also tastes great topped with cherry pie filling!!!
