2 C. Sugar
2 C. Flour
1/2 C. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks of margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup water

Frosting:
1 stick of butter
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/3 C. milk
1 box powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift sugar and flour together in large bowl. In a saucepan, mix butter, cocoa, and water. Bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients. Mix well, then add soda to buttermilk; stir and add to rest of mixture with eggs ( well beaten ) and vanilla. Mix well. Batter will be thin. Bake in an 11X16 inch greased and floured pan at 325º for about 20 to 25 minutes.

Frosting:
Mix and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add 1 box powdered sugar, vanilla, and nuts. Spread on cake while still hot
