1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
1 stick butter or marg.
1 can cream of chicken (or celery) soup
8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1 medium onion, diced
1/2 t. salt
Topping:
2 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. melted butter or marg.

Directions:
Directions:
Spread potatoes in 9x13-inch baking dish. Heat soup and butter until melted. Blend in sour cream, onion and salt. Pour over potatoes and sprinkle top with cheese. Then mix corn flakes with butter and top off the dish with it. Bake @ 350º uncovered for 45 min. to 1 hour.
