Blueberry Torte Recipe

1/2 c. plus 1 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar

Mix as for pie crust.
Press into a 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

1 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 small container Cool Whip

Beat sugar & cream cheese until fluffy.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Spread over cooled crust.

1 quart blueberries
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch

Simmer 1 cup of blueberries in 2/3 c. of water for 5 minutes.
Blend sugar, cornstarch, & 1/3 c. of water.
Slowly add to cooked berries and boil for 1 minute. Cool and add remaining 3 c. of blueberries.
Spoon over cream cheese mixture.
Chill several hours.
