Giant Snickerdoodles Recipe

1 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
3 1/4 c flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl with the electric mixer at medium speed, cream butter and 1 1/2 c sugar, add the eggs until light and fluffy. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and mix until well blended. Refrigerate dough for a minimum of 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375º. Combine remaining 2 tbsp sugar and the cinnamon. Use a regular ice cream scoop to measure out the dough. Roll the dough into a ball and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place 3" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 13-14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack. Makes about 2 dozen really big cookies.
