1/2 lb sausage meat
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage meat. Drain VERY well. Crumble. Set aside.
Put flour, baking powder, soda and salt in large bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in sausage meat. Make well in center.
Pour buttermilk into well. Stir quickly to form soft dough. Turn out on floured surface. Knead 8-10 times. Pat or roll 3/4 inch thick. Cut into rounds, squares or triangles. Place on greased baking sheet and bake in 450º oven until brown. Makes about 10-15 biscuits.
