3/4 c sugar
2 tbsp Hershey's Cocoa (unsweetened powder)
1/3 c milk
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar and cocoa together in a heavy bottomed saucepan. Over medium heat add milk, butter, and vanilla. Stirring constantly, heat thoroughly, but do not boil. Serve over warm biscuits or bits of toasted bread.

Grandma (Bessie Moody Collins) did not use measuring cups or spoons, so I have tried to get this recipe as close to her's as I can using standard measurements. It's close, but of course no one could make it like she did. Once I asked her why her chocolate gravy did not include flour like many others. She replied, "Why would I ruin good chocolate by adding flour to it?" She liked everything especially sweet and her chocolate gravy was no exception.
