1-3 lb. beef tenderloin (room temp.)
Rub with oil course ground pepper

Preheat oven 450º

Place meat in shallow pan I have found that if you fold in half and tie, you get better cooking consistency.

Bake 30 min - let stand 10 min before slicing thin, approximately 1/4".
