Ingredients:  
4 - 6oz. cans of minced clams - drained - keep juice
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 c. fresh parsley
1/2 lb. butter, melted
1 tbl. oregano
1/2 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 c. bread crumbs
3 slices american cheese, cut-up
4 tsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer clams in lemon juice for 15 minutes.

In the meantime, combine onion, green pepper and parsley

Add to simmering clams and stir well.

Add melted butter, oregano, and pepper.

Add bread crumbs and enough clam juice to moisten (should not be too runny).

Place in baking dish and top with cheese - bake at 350º until heated through and bubbly.
