1 C butter
1 C powdered sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C flour

Butter Frosting
3 T soft butter
1 1/2 C powdered sugar
3 T cream/milk
1 tsp. vanilla
food coloring
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar gradually, beat in egg and extracts; blend in salt and flour. Put in freezer for a couple hours. Roll 1/8 in. thick on lightly floured surface. Cut with cutters. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool and frost with Butter Frosting. Decorate with tinted Butter Frosting.

Butter Frosting
Blend all ingredients except food coloring; add enough cream to make frosting of spreading consistency; beat until smooth. Remove a small amount of frosting for each color.
