1 c butter
2 sticks margarine
1/2 c light or dark corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp salt
6 qt popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn in 2 large shallow baking pans. (I use 9x13 cake pans). Mix well. Bake at 250º for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Break apart and store in covered container.
