2 c. bread crumbs
2 c. suet
1-1/2 c. sugar
1-1/2 c. raisins (dark seeded)
1-1/2 c. raisins (light)
1/4 c. peel
1/4 c. cherries
2 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp each mace, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon

mix together. Put into a bowl with a ridge about 3/4" from top, cover with cheese cloth, tie with string. (don't let cloth hang into water, tie on top) Put into pot of boiling water, up to ridge of bowl, put lid on and simmer & steam pudding for 3 hours. Can also use pint jars in necessary. Put into pint jars, put lids on and pressure can for 1-1/2 hrs.
