1 can cherry pie filling
1 stick butter or margarine
1 box dry cake mix (yellow or white)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Spread pie filling in baking pan. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling. Cut butter/margarine in small pieces and drop on top of the cake mix. Sprinkle the nuts on top of that. Bake @ 350º for 1 hour.

This is best served warm. It is also good with pineapple chunks and the cherry pie filling. You can use other fruits and/or nuts. Sometimes I even melt extra butter and pour on top - use your own judgement!!
