1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 T. sugar
pinch of salt

Deep fry in Crisco
Mix the above ingredients strain and let stand 1 hr. Heat rosette iron in grease and then dip into batter (do not let batter go over the top of the iron) & then back into hot grease. Fry till they are brown. Take out of grease, let cool then dip in sugar to coat the rosettes..
