"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/4 stick real butter
1/2 c popcorn kernels
1/4 c cooking oil (coconut oil is heavenly)

Directions:
Directions:
When no one is looking, melt butter very slowly in saucepan. In another pot (with close fitting lid) put enough oil to barely cover the bottom. Put enough popcorn to barely cover bottom. IMPORTANT - start on med. heat, when popping starts turn up to med. high. When popped, remove quickly and pour into a bowl. Salt immediately and pour butter over popcorn while violently shaking the bowl. Some popcorn will fall on the floor, so let the dog in and you will have fed the dog and cleaned up your mess. When the butter was melting you should have filled a big glass with crushed ice and put it in the freezer to frost up, but you forgot and so did I. Now pour your favorite soda in a frosted glass and enjoy!
