1/2 cup sliced almonds
3 T sugar
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
1/4 cup oil
2 T Sugar
1 T Chopped parsley
2 T Vinegar
1 head green or red lettuce
6-8 green onions
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 cup chopped celery

Directions:
Directions:
Stir alnonds and 3 T sugar over low heat until coated, remove and set aside.
Mix salt, pepper, oil, parsley, 2 T sugar, and vinegar in a jar and refrigerate.
Put the rest of the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Stir in dressing and almonds.

I used orange-mint leaves from my garden instead of parsley and it was awesome! The candied almonds are a nice touch, but not necessary. Just plain sliced almonds work great.
