11 lb pears, peeled and ground
6 lb sugar
2 whole oranges, ground, seeds removed
1 large can crushed pineapple

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first three ingredients in a large heavy pot and cook till it makes a thick syrup. No water is needed. Add pineapple when pears are almost done. Can in pint or half-pint jars in the usual manner.
