1-14oz pkg. Kraft caramels
1/3 c evaporated milk
1 box German Chocolate cake mix
½ c butter or margarine
1/3 c evaporated milk
1 c chopped nuts
1 6oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In double boiler, combine caramels, 1/3 c evaporated milk. Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until caramels are melted. Set aside. Generously grease and lightly flour a 13x9. In large mixing bowl, combine dry cake, butter, 1/3 c evap milk and nuts. Stir by hand until dough holds together. Press ½ dough into prepared pan. Reserve rest dough for top. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes. Sprinkle choc chips over baked crust. Spread caramel mixture over choc chips, crumble reserved dough on top. Return to oven, bake 15 to 18 minutes, cool slightly and refrigerate, cut into bars.
