2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1-1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t soda
1/4 tsp salt
6 T very cold butter
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1-1/2 t vanilla
2/3 cup raisins, optional

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, and salt. Cut butter into dry ingredients in food processor. Combine buttermilk, egg, vanilla; add to flour mixture. Pat dough to 1/2" thic. Cut into triangles. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 , 10-15 minutes, till lightly browned and a cake tester comes out clean.
