3 cans chicken broth (or 5 cubes or T. in 4 1/2 c. water)
2 c. water
1 box Uncle Ben's Wild Rice (including seasoning packet)
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
2 c. half and half
1 1/2 c. cubed chicken (cooked in bacon grease)
1/2 pkg. bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Mix broth, water, rice, seasoning packet, and onion in large saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer 1/2 hr. Cook bacon, leave grease in pan. Cook chicken in grease then shred or cut. Make roux in frying pan: melt butter, add flour. Stir in half and half. Add roux to rice mixture. Keep on low heat. Add chicken just before serving. Top with bacon pieces. (Good served in bread bowl.)
