2 T butter
2 c molasses
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c milk
3 squares chocolate
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter in pan. When melted, add molasses, sugar and milk. Stir until sugar is dissolved. When boiling point is reached, add chocolate stirring constantly until chocolate is melted. Boil until when tried in cold water, will form a ball. Add vanilla just after removing from fire. Add nuts. Pour on buttered pan and cool. Mark in squares.

I don't recall this candy, but it was in Mom's special file kept on the deep window sill above the kitchen cabinets. I do not recognize the handwriting but it was worthy of saving.
