1/2 C vegetable oil or melted butter
1 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C flour
1/2 C Hersheys cocoa
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 C chopped nuts (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend oil, sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl. Add eggs, beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, soda and baking powder and salt. Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in a greased 9-inch sq pan. Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes, or until brownies begin to pull away from the edges. Cool in pan. Frost if desired. Cut into squares.
