1 unbeaten egg white
7/8 c. granulated sugar
3 T. cold water
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1/4 t. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Put first three ingredients in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water; beat with egg beater seven minutes or until thick. Take from fire; add flavoring. Beat until thick and nearly cold; add baking powder. Continue to beat until thick enough to spread on cake without running. Sufficient for a loaf or 2-layer cake.
