1 1/2 lb. confectioners sugar
1 lb. peanut butter
1/2 lb. soft butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 bag butterscotch or chocolate chips
1/2 stick parawax

Directions:
Directions:
Mix peanut butter, softened butter and 1 lb confectioners sugar. Then add remaining sugar and vanilla. Mix. Shape into balls and refrigerate one hour.

Melt morsels and wax over low heat. Pierce chilled balls with toothpick and dip balls in hot mixture leaving small exposed tip to resemble a buckeye. Place on waxed paper to cool.

Amy loved helping make these treats as a little girl and passed this craft on to her boys when they were young. Because this candy is so good, this recipe quickly made its rounds among candy makers and now is even prepared by commercial candy makers.
