Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Strips of either chicken or beef
olive oil or oil of choice
Bag of Birdseye frozen mixed vegetables
Teriaki sauce
salt
ground pepper
garlic (optional)
onions (optional)
rice
butter

Directions:
Directions:
Marinate meat strips in Teriaki sauce for approx. an hour. Place vegetables out to thaw at this time. About 15 minutes before meal time, heat oil in quick hot wok and brown meat strips with garlic or onions to taste. Add vegetables and stir fry until desired tenderness is achieved. Salt and pepper to taste.

While meat is marinating, prepare rice in rice cooker according to directions on bag. Usually 1 c rice to 3 c water, dotted with butter and salted makes a nice tender rice dish. Time to have ready before stir fry is done. Rice will hold well in a cooker for a few minutes.

Meal may be served on one platter with stir fry placed on top of rice or served separately to allow each diner to fix own proportions.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Served with a salad and bread sticks and you have a complete meal that is very satisfying and nutritious. It's also good with fresh vegetables of your choice. Freshly ground pepper makes a difference you can taste. This meal can be time consuming to prepare, but is worth it.
