2 C. Sugar
1 1/2 C. Wesson or Crisco Oil
3 small eggs, beaten
3 C. Chopped Apples ( fresh ) green and tart
2 1/2 C. Flour
2 T. Cinnamon
1 T. soda
1 T. Vanilla
1 C. chopped Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and set aside Flour, soda, and cinnamon. Mix sugar and oil; add beaten eggs. Beat until well mixed about 5 minutes. Add chopped Apples, and vanilla. Add flour mixture, mix well. Pour into prepared tube pan and bake 1 hour and 20 minutes @ 350º Dribble with Sugar and Milk glaze if desired.

Naomi Roberts made this cake for a reunion many years ago. I wish she knew how many cakes I have made. One brought $25.00 at a church auction. We have a Green Apple Tree that I make cakes from each year. Lavada Jones
