7 c. sliced pickles
1 c. sliced onion
1 med. sliced green pepper
1 T.pickling salt
2 c.sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first four ingredients and leave stand for 1 hour. Drain.
In a separete pan,boil next 3 ingredients till the sugar is dissolved. Let stand to cool. Pack drained pickles, onions and peppers in glass jars. Pour syrup over and seal. Put in refrigerator. Can be served in 24 hours.

This recipe was used by Aunt Rainy. After she had passed on,the recipe stayed with us in our family because I continued to make these delicous refrigerater pickles. Hope you enjoy them as much as our family has all these years.
