2 pounds Top Round, cut into 1/4 " strips
4 Tblsp butter
1 large yellow onion, chopped
2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
3 Tblsp flour
1 Tbslp ketchup or tomato paste
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10.5 oz) can beef broth
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/4 tsp dried dill
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 pound wide egg noodles

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add the beef strips and saute to brown. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add remaining butter and saute onion, garlic, and mushrooms for 3 to 5 minutes. Add flour, ketchup, salt and pepper, scrapping the bottom of the pan as necessary. Gradually add the broth, stirring constantly until it boils. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in wine, dill, and sour cream. Add beef and heat thoroughly. Serve over a bed of wide egg noodles.
