2 sticks butter or margarine
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup cocoa
2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup butter or margarine
4 T cocoa
4 T milk
1 lb powered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Measure and sift together the dry ingredients and set aside. In a microwave safe bowl melt butter. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Add sifted ingredients to egg mixture just until moist. Pour into a greased 10x15 pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. While brownies are baking make the frosting. On the stove, in a pot, bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Remove from stove and add vanilla and powered sugar. Stir with a wire whisk until all lumps of powered sugar are gone. Add nuts if desired. As soon as brownies come out of the oven, pour frosting over them and let cool.
