6 T. butter
1.5 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
5 c. cubed stuffing
2 T. chopped parsley
1 T. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chicken broth
2 large eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 lbs. bulk pork or turkey sausage, cooked
3 c. cubed apples, cored but not peeled
2 8.5 oz. cans sliced water chestnuts, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and saute onion and celery for about 5 minutes until soft. Combine bread cubes and seasonings. Add onion mixture and moisten with chicken broth and eggs. Blend in sausage, apples, water chestnuts and combine well. Makes enought ot stuff a 20 lb turkey!
