1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups grated carrots
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together all dry ingredients. Add oil, applesauce, and eggs to dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in carrots and nuts. Bake in a greased and floured layer cake pan at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost with ceam cheese frosting.
