10-12 bright red field corn cobs broken in to 2 in. pieces
4-5 pints of boiling water
1 pkg of pectin
3 cups of sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Boil corn cobs gently in water for about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and strain 3 cups of red liquid into a pan through a cloth. Add the pectin and sugar and stir to dissolve. Bring to rolling boil and boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from heat and skim. Pour into jars and seal.
