Crust:
1 1/2 cups flour
6 Tblsp sugar
3/4 cup butter

Glaze:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
4 Tblsp cornstarch mixed with 4 tsp water
1/8 tsp salt

3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
To make crust, sift flour with sugar; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Press onto bottom and sides of 9 inch pie pan. Bake 15 to 20 minues. Let cool.
To make glaze, simmer water, 3/4 cup sugar, and 1 cup strawberries for 5 minutes, until syrupy. Stir in cornstarch and water, remaining 1/4 cup sugar and the salt. Simmer for 3 more minutes or until thickened. Cool slightly.
Place remaining strawberries in the crust and pour glaze over the berries. Chill 2 to 3 hours or until set. Serve topped with whipped cream.
