2 T butter
2 T all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
2 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
2 small onions, sliced very thin
2 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a sauce pan melt butter. Gradually stir in flour and salt until smooth, then gradually add in milk. Bring to a boil and stir for 2 minutes until thickened. Add more milk if too thick. Grease 1 quart baking dish. Layer potatoes and onions...pour sauce over the potatoes and onions. Bake uncovered for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350º
