1 lb spinach
1 medium red onion, sliced
3 to 5 slices bacon, crumbled
1/4 lb sliced mushrooms, optional
1/2 c oil
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c catsup
1/2 c cider vinegar
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and dry the spinach. Cut into bit size pieces. In a large salad bowl combine the spinach, onion, bacon and mushrooms. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, blending thoroughly. Pour over the salad and serve immediately. Dressing will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Serves 6
